B-Cam

I developed a prototype video camera which supports buffering, recording and live streaming using a Raspberry Pi Compute Module.

Rapiscan systems

Developed in objective Python a GUI front end for testing the sensors in the RTT110 baggage X-ray system.

Kent Modular Electronics

I developed the firmware for a new generation touch screen conroller based on a PIC32MX microcontroller.

I acted (on contract) as software lead on a project to develop an HDMI wireless streamer.

I supervised a team of up to six engineers, captured requirements, designed the software structure, and personally coded some low-level parts of the system, including the software upgrade system. I also assisted with setting up the hardware production line.

I designed the software to be reliable and easy to use.
